The Accountant provides accounting and administrative support to the Controller and the Accounting Department at large by performing tasks from file maintenance, cash deposits, maintenance of bank and insurance records, reconciliation of asset and liability accounts, coding, research, and monthly and ad-hoc reporting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Enter financial transactions into internal databases.
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Maintain digital and physical financial records.
• Prepare and review electronic reports with accuracy.
• Review and approve accounts payable.
• Participate in external and internal audits.
• Assist staff with accounting issues.
• Support company interaction with outside professional services teams.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant business discipline.

Experience:

_Must have 3 years’ experience as a business professional.
Must have a demonstrable experience of accounting, tax and financial compliance._

Must be relatable and able to communicate effectively and collaborate with other company personnel.

Presence:

This position is 100% in-office located in Marble Falls TX 78654.
